Meet Dr. Ian Haggard

Dentist in Athens, Alabama

Dr. Ian Haggard has been with Athens Dental Services since 2021 and has been the sole owner of the practice since 2022.

Dr. Haggard is a native of Tennessee and obtained his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Tennessee before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. During his tenure with the Marines, he was awarded meritorious recognition by senior leaders for superior performance following deployments to the Middle East, Africa, and the South Pacific. After his tenure with the Marines, he continued his education at the A.T. Still University-Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health with a focus on public health. “I discovered an appreciation of the dental arts during my service with the Marines, where I witnessed the positive impact of restoring poor oral health conditions across the world.”

Dr. Haggard is an avid outdoorsman and animal lover. He enjoys spending time with his wife Jordan, and his two dogs, archery, bowling, and cooking.
